Eimaar’s Orphan Sponsorship Program supports vulnerable orphaned children and their families by helping meet essential needs, including education, healthcare, nutrition, clothing, and basic living expenses. The program aims to promote children’s well-being, dignity, protection, and access to opportunities for a safer and brighter future.
Following years of conflict, White Nile State has become a refuge for thousands of internally displaced families, placing immense pressure on the state’s already overstretched education system. Many schools lack basic infrastructure, while others are unable to accommodate the growing number of students. In some communities, children are forced to study in open spaces due to the absence of classrooms, sanitation facilities, and secure school compounds.
Women’s Empowerment and Livelihoods Project supports vulnerable women and female-headed households by strengthening their skills, economic opportunities, and ability to build sustainable livelihoods. Through vocational training, entrepreneurship support, income-generating activities, and access to livelihood resources, the project helps women increase their economic independence, improve household resilience, and contribute actively to their communities.
Key focus areas: vocational and business skills, entrepreneurship and small enterprises, income-generating activities, financial literacy, and sustainable livelihoods.
The Strengthening Capacity and Scaling Up Anticipatory Action Project aims to strengthen the ability of communities, local institutions, and humanitarian actors to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to potential crises before they escalate. The project promotes early warning, preparedness, risk analysis, community-based planning, and timely anticipatory interventions to reduce the humanitarian impacts of climate-related hazards, displacement, and other emergencies.
Key focus areas: capacity building, early warning systems, disaster risk reduction, community preparedness, anticipatory planning, coordination, and early action.
The Climate Change Resilience, Ecosystems and Environmental Sustainability Project aims to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities to the impacts of climate change while protecting and restoring natural ecosystems. The project promotes sustainable natural resource management, environmental conservation, climate adaptation, community awareness, and nature-based solutions that support livelihoods and long-term environmental sustainability.
Key focus areas: climate change adaptation, ecosystem restoration, environmental protection, natural resource management, community awareness, sustainable livelihoods, and nature-based solutions.
The Child Protection and Safeguarding Project aims to create safe, protective, and inclusive environments for children, particularly those affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and other humanitarian crises. The project works to prevent and respond to violence, abuse, exploitation, neglect, and harmful practices while promoting children’s rights, dignity, well-being, and meaningful participation.
Key focus areas: child safeguarding, prevention and response to violence and exploitation, psychosocial support, community-based child protection, referral services, child rights awareness, and strengthening the capacity of families and communities to protect children.
