As part of its commitment to strengthening humanitarian response and organizational excellence, **Eimaar Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (Eimaar)** successfully conducted a **three-day Capacity Building Workshop** for its staff and volunteers. The training program began in Khartoum and concluded in **White Nile State**, hosted by the Sudanese Police Headquarters.
Implemented in partnership with **Sudan Relief USA** and the **Sudan Relief Organization**, the workshop focused on enhancing participants’ knowledge and skills in organizational and institutional development, humanitarian principles, project management, and effective volunteerism.
The initiative formed part of Eimaar’s long-term strategy to build a highly skilled humanitarian workforce capable of delivering sustainable development programs across Sudan. Through interactive training sessions and practical learning, participants strengthened their capacity to design, implement, and manage impactful humanitarian and development interventions.
This project reflects Eimaar’s commitment to investing in people as the foundation of sustainable development. By strengthening the capacities of humanitarian professionals and volunteers, Eimaar is helping build resilient institutions that can better respond to the challenges facing conflict-affected and vulnerable communities throughout Sudan.
As part of its commitment to improving food security and supporting vulnerable communities, **Eimaar Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization (Eimaar)** successfully implemented its **Qurbani Project** during **Eid al-Adha**. The project combined the spiritual significance of Qurbani with a humanitarian mission to provide nutritious food to families affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty across Sudan.
The project was carried out during the first three days of Eid al-Adha in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Cows were sacrificed, with each cow representing seven Qurbani shares, and all meat was distributed free of charge to vulnerable households, including women, children, older persons, internally displaced people (IDPs), refugees, and low-income families.
Each beneficiary household received an average of **5 kg of fresh meat**, providing a valuable source of protein for a family of four for up to three weeks. The meat was prepared and packaged in a culturally appropriate manner to meet local dietary preferences and ensure dignity for recipients.
Through this initiative, Eimaar helped alleviate food insecurity, improved access to essential nutrition, and enabled donors to fulfill their religious obligation while making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable Sudanese families.
